Students and families enrolled at Young Women’s Leadership School of Astoria (NY) can learn here about exam payment submission for the 2026 Advanced Placement (AP®) Exams. The AP® Exam information and policies are posted below. Please read through this information.
Exam Fee Payment Deadline: February 15, 2026 (midnight EST)
AP EXAM REGISTRATION DEADLINES AND PROCEDURES
Step 1: Join MyAP – Students Joined the AP® Classroom on the College Board MyAP system at http://myap.collegeboard.org in class with the AP® Teachers. (You completed this step in September in class!)
Step 2: Submit exam fees – Students will receive from APTS at the student email address listed on their College Board MyAP account a customized and personal digital invoice for exam fees that are due. Invoices will be emailed out on Novemebr 18, 2025. Exam fees are due paid in full by February 15, 2026.
General Policies and Information:
1. The cost per exam is $99.
2. Students accepted into and enrolled in AP® courses at The Young Women Leadership School of Astoria are required to sit for, pay for and take the exam that accompanies the course.
3. Payment submission for AP® exams will be done through a digital invoice through APTS. Students with active exam orders on MyAP will receive on November 18, 2025 a custom digital invoice. Invoices will be emailed to the email address listed on the student’s College Board profile.
The fees due can be submitted either by online payment (credit or debit card), or via mailing in a check or money order. Instructions will be provided in the invoice.
Use of a credit or debit card to complete the online payment form will incur a 3.9% credit card processing fee. Students may choose to avoid that fee by mailing in a check or money order to the address provided in the invoice instructions. Mail in options should be payable to “APTS.” If you select this option, you must postmark your payment on or before February 10, 2026 ensure timely processing.
Payment of the balance due in full must be submitted by February 15, 2026.
4. Fee reductions are possible for qualified students and will automatically be reflected in your invoice with a reduced price. (The College Board reduced fee for exams is $53. Additional state subsidies may be available and will automatically be applied to your invoice).
If you feel you may qualify for a fee reduction and it’s NOT already on your invoice, contact AP Coordinator Alexandra Gialaboukis at agialaboukis@schools.nyc.gov before the February 15, 2026 deadline.
Approval may take several days so it is critical to apply early. Approval for fee reductions will be based on criteria established by the College Board. If approved, you will be issued a new, updated Exam Fee Invoice via email.
5. Absences: Students who are absent the day of the scheduled AP® Exam will need to request a rescheduling of their exam to the Late Test date set by The College Board. There is a $40 College Board Late Testing Fee that will be charged to the student for the rescheduled exam.
6. Non-attendance or cancellation: Students who are absent from an exam must reschedule the exam to the Late Test date. Failure to attend either the regular or Late Test date for the required exam will incur a $40 College Board Cancellation Penalty Fee which will be charged to the student. Failure to submit the Cancellation Penalty Fee will impact release of Graduation Diplomas/Transcripts from your school.
