2. Why take the PSAT® 9 exam?
The PSAT® 9 is the first test in the SAT® Suite of Assessments. Tightly aligned with the SAT®, PSAT/NMSQT®, and PSAT® 10, it establishes a baseline for college and career readiness as students enter high school. The PSAT® 9 is designed for eighth- and ninth-graders. Students who take the PSAT® 9 will receive personalized SAT® study resources based on their results.
In grade 10 students can take the PSAT® 10 and in grade 11 students take the PSAT/NMSQT® (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.)

On the morning of the exam, 9th grade students will report directly to the Practice Gym at 7:30 a.m. No student will be admitted to the testing site after the testing begins. Students will be released from the testing site back to their regular schedules at the conclusion of the exam.
4. How are scores released?
Students will receive a paper score report at school with a unique code giving them access to a robust online score report that will grow to include every test in the redesigned SAT® Suite of Assessments.
