GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. Registration & Fees:
The cost for each exam is $110.
The State of Georgia subsidizes the full cost of one STEM exam for each student attending Pike County High School. STEM Subjects offered at PCHS are: AP Biology, AP Calculus AB, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics 1, and AP Precalculus. Students registering for one or more STEM exams will be subsidized for one exam and receive that one exam at no cost to the student.
All students choosing to take exams must be active in MyAP by November 2, 2025.
Payment can be submitted through November 2, 2025 by clicking Submit AP® Exam Fees
ALL students should complete the payment form, even if your only exam this year will be the subsidized STEM exam at no charge.
Late payment submission for exams corresponding to courses that commence in the Fall will be possible from November 15, 2025 through March 1, 2026, with a penalty fee of $40 PER exam (including STEM subjects or fee reduction subsidized exams).
Payment for exams may be done via credit card or debit card, OR by mailing in a check or money order. To submit fees, complete the online payment form at the link below. There will be an online payment fee of 3.9% for payments submitted by credit or debit card. Mail in payments must be postmarked on or before October 28, 2025 to ensure timely processing. Directions will be provided at the payment option selection screen on the online payment form. Late payment payment submission is possible only online.
Fee Reductions: Students who qualify for the Free-Reduced Lunch program will be eligible for a full waiver of the exam fees (sponsored by the State of Georgia STEM program and Carroll County Schools.) To receive the fee waiver, please contact your school AP Coordinator, Ms. Holly Cantrell (cantreh@pike.k12.ga.us), to receive a Fee Reduction Code to apply to the online payment form. The Fee Reduction Code functions like a discount code. It will automatically reduce the cost of the exam to $64 per exam (and provide 1 STEM exam free.)
2. Activating an Exam Order
To activate the exam on the College Board site, students will log into their College Board profile accounts via the MyAP system at http://myap.collegeboard.org
A College Board profile is the same account used to order previous AP® exams, order SAT® exams, or to collect PSAT/NMSQT® and AP® Exam scores from past years. If a student does not have a profile, they will need to create one.
Make sure all the registration and profile pages are complete on MyAP, including: your FULL legal name (should match school records – Do not use nicknames!), your School Information, and an email address where you can receive important exam day information from APTS and/or the College Board.
Make sure to use an email address where you frequently check email. It should be the student email address.
Students will need a Join Code (or access code) to connect their profile to their specific AP® subjects. Join Codes are subject, teacher and class period specific. Please see your AP® Class teacher to obtain a Join Code before November 2, 2025 and complete the process on MyAP.
See the FAQs for more details.
3. Refunds and Cancellations: Students who submitted and paid for an exam order by November 2, 2025 are able to request a partial refund and exam cancellation between November 3, 2025 and April 1, 2026. A $40 College Board cancellation penalty fee will be forfeited (in the case of free STEM exams, the $40 will be invoiced and will be due by May 1.) To cancel an exam, email cancel@aptsusa.com and include your name, name of your school, and the title of the exam to cancel.
