Students and families enrolled in Noblesville High School can register here for the May 2026 Advanced Placement (AP®) Exam administration.
Registration Deadline: November 5, 2025**
Late Registration Deadline: March 4, 2026
Deadlines and Procedures:
Step 1: Activate Exam – Students log into their AP® Class on the MyAP Site at https://myap.collegeboard.org to join the online AP® Class. Activate the exam by applying the teacher issued Join Code to your MyAP Account (This step was already done in class in September!)
Step 2: Fee Submission – Click on Submit AP® Exams Payment and complete the payment form to submit fees. All students complete the online payment form, regardless of method of payment. Deadline to submit fees is November 5, 2025.
1.The State of Indiana requires students to sit for AP exams in order to qualify for the Academic Honors Diploma as well as the Graduation Pathway requirements. Therefore, any student at Noblesville High School enrolled in a College Board Advanced Placement course will be required to sit for the corresponding exam.
2.The cost of an AP® Exam is $99 each.* (Submit payment at the link below).
*The State of Indiana will subsidize the exam fees for up to TWO exams for May 2026 (pertains only to specific subjects). The exam fee for all students for two subject exams will be $0 per exam, however an upfront deposit (minimum fee) of $40 per exam is required to place the order (this is to cover the penalty fees levied by College Board in the event of a cancellation.) Once it is confirmed that the student has tested, the subsidy will be activated and a refund of $40 per exam will issued in June. To view a list of subsidized exams, click HERE.
Each student will also be charged a $9 AP Exam Administration Fee to help the school offset the costs of exam administration.
3. Students choosing to sit for the May AP® Exams must adhere to the listed deadlines for ordering exams for 2025-2026.
Late registration will be available for those who missed the November 5 deadline starting November 16, 2025 through 11:59pm on March 4, 2026. Late registration will incur a penalty fee of $40 per exam (applicable to subsidized and fee reduction exams as well.)
No new orders will be accepted after March 4, 2026.
4. Activate the Exam: (This was likely done in class in September!) To activate the exam on the College Board site, students will log into their College Board profile accounts via the MyAP system at http://myap.collegeboard.org
A College Board profile is the same account used to order SAT® exams, order previous year AP® exams, or to collect PSAT/NMSQT®, SAT® and AP® Exam scores from past years. If a student does not have a profile, they will need to create one.
Students will need a Join Code (or access code) to connect their profile to their specific AP® subjects. Join Codes are subject, teacher and class period specific. Join Codes will be distributed in class (typically after the add/drop period has passed for the term). In case of absence, please contact your school AP® Coordinator Karen Matthews at karen_matthews@nobl.k12.in.us to obtain a Join Code and complete the process on MyAP before the payment deadline.
All students should complete the join step to access free MyAP resources. Students who are planning on taking the AP Exam must also submit exam fees.
5. Exam Fees: Payments for exams may be submitted at the link below by credit card or debit card, OR by mailing in a check or money order to the APTS processing center. There will be an online payment fee of 3.9% for payments submitted by credit or debit card. There is no processing fee for mailing in a check or money order. Directions for payment can be found at the end of the online payment form. The postmark deadline to ensure timely mail in payment processing is October 30, 2025.
6.. Fee reduction/assistance: Fee reductions are possible for qualified students. If you feel you may qualify for a fee reduction, please contact AP® Coordinator Karen Matthews at karen_matthews@nobl.k12.in.us to review your eligibility BEFORE submitting your exam fees. Once eligibility has been confirmed, you will be provided with a Fee Reduction Code to apply to the online payment form to reduce the cost to $53 per exam. Code usage will be verified by APTS.
*The State of Indiana will subsidize the exam fees for up to TWO exams for May 2026 (pertains only to specific subjects). The exam fee for all students for two subject exams will be $0 per exam, however an upfront deposit (minimum fee) of $40 per exam is required to place the order (this is to cover the penalty fees levied by College Board in the event of a cancellation.)

7. To have a successfully activated exam order, a student must complete both exam activation on MyAP and payment submission by the applicable deadline. Failure to complete both steps will mean that your school’s AP Coordinator will not be able to submit your exam order to the College Board.
8. Cancellations and Refunds: Refunds are not possible for cancellation except in special circumstances.
The State of Indiana requires students to sit for AP exams in order to qualify for the Academic Honors Diploma as well as the Graduation Pathway requirements. Therefore, any student at Noblesville High School enrolled in a College Board Advanced Placement course will be required to sit for the corresponding exam. For students who do not take the AP exam, their cumulative grade point averages will be re-calculated retroactively without the grade weight and they will forfeit fees paid to cover the College Board Cancellation Penalty Fee.
** Students enrolled in an AP Economics or AP US Government course that begins in the second semester, and only these students, can register without penalty between January 6 and March 4, 2026.
