Exam Payment Deadline: November 4, 2025 (midnight CST)
Exam Fee: $99 per exam
How do I place an AP® exam order?
Step 1: Activate Exam – Students must JOIN their AP® Class accounts on the MyAP Site at https://myap.collegeboard.org and indicate your exam decision. To access the site, use a College Board Profile.
The College Board profile is the same account that you use to order SAT® Exams, or to collect prior year AP® or PSAT® exam results. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one at http://myap.collegeboard.org
Students will be provided in their AP® Class at school a Join Code (or access code.) Once logged into MyAP, you will ‘Join’ your class with that access code. ALL Students should complete this join step so that you can have access to the College Board resources i n the system.
Join Codes are subject, teacher and period specific.
Students who are taking the optional exam, will need to log in and also activate the exam on MyAp by clicking “Register for exam” for each of the subjects in which they choose to test.

Step 2: Submit Exam Fee – To take an AP® exam in the May 2026 AP® Exam administration, a $99 per exam fee is due by November 4, 2025. Click below to submit the fee.
Both Step 1 and 2 must be completed by November 4, 2025 to activate the exam order. Failure to complete both steps 1 and 2 by the November 4 deadline means the AP Coordinator for your school cannot submit an exam order with College Board.
Late registration and order initiating will be possible from November 21 through March 2, 2026 for a penalty fee of $40 per exam. No exam orders will be accepted after March 2, 2026.
Tips for setting up your College Board Profile on MyAP:
– Use an email address that you will have access to throughout high school AND university
– Make sure to enter your COMPLETE legal name to prevent issues with sending score reports to colleges and universities
– Enter your school student ID number to assist your school in reporting your attendance to the exam to your school AND help identify errors in names.
– Submit ‘Send Scores’ by June 15 – you are eligible for a free score report sent to the college/university of your choice. To request the report, log into MyAP and navigate to MyAP Profile and then ‘Send Scores.’ Submissions before June 15 will be free.
I can’t access my College Board Profile account or am not sure I have one. What do I do?
The College Board Profile is the same account used to access your past years’ AP® scores, PSAT® scores, and SAT® scores. Do not create a new one! Each student should have only ONE unique account. If you are unable to access the account, try using the ‘Forget Password?’ link on http://myap.collegeboard.org OR email apstudents@info.collegeboard.org OR call 888-225-5427 for assistance.
Where do I get the Join Code to complete the join step on the MyAP site?
Join Codes are subject, teacher, and period specific. Please see your AP® teacher ASAP to complete the step by November 4, 2025.
