Prepare for your 2021 AP exams:
To prepare for your 2021 AP Exams, please review the following carefully and complete the information below:

- Complete the required Set up steps and readiness checks at the link above for your at-home digital exams.
- If using your own personal digital device (PC or Mac laptop or desktop) then you will need to complete the set up steps yourself ASAP
- If using a School-Managed Chromebook, the Digital Exam App has been added to the Apps Menu by the district IT. (You may have to restart your Chromebook to see the App added to the Kiosk Apps menu on the start page before you log in.)

- Prepare for your In-Person Exams:

- Check in for morning exams is no later than 7:30 a.m., and no later than 11:30 a.m. for afternoon exams. Students will complete required administrative steps during that time. Please make sure that you are in the room by 7:30 a.m. since every minute before the exam timing begins also counts!
- Morning exam administration will begin at 8:00am and afternoon at 12:00 p.m. Students who report after exam administration begins will not be admitted and will not be eligible to reschedule or a partial refund. No exceptions.
- Exams will take approximately 4 hours (Calculated from Check in time). Please plan accordingly. Students will not be allowed to leave the test early. Release times for exams vary depending on a variety of factors including but not limited to structure of the exam, timely arrival at the start of all students, prompt return by students from the break, etc. On average, plan for release 4 hours from check in.
- What are you REQUIRED to bring with to the exam?
- ?A mask – masks must be worn at all times even when practicing social distancing
- Current picture ID (school ID or driver’s license). Without a current picture ID students will not be admitted to the testing room
- ?Pencils AND black/blue ink pens (due to sanitation requirements, there will be no pencils/pens available to borrow from the proctor)
- Calculator for the exams that allow it (Please review requirements here)
- For AP Spanish Language, the student is required to bring their school issued/managed Chromebook in fully charged readiness.
- What are you NOT allowed to bring with to the exam?
- ?ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION DEVICES, BACKPACKS, PURSES OR BAGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN TESTING CENTERS. We recommend those are left at home or in your vehicle.
- Smartwatches and internet enabled fitness trackers are NOT allowed.
- No books, notes, scratch paper, or study materials may enter the testing room with you.
- What MAY you bring with you to the exam?
- ?Students MAY bring water and snacks for the exam break. Snacks and water must be in clear containers (containers must be clear and transparent) and carried in plastic bags. Only water may be taken to your seat and must be in a clear bottle (no labels) and be kept on the floor under your seat during testing. Food items may be left in designated areas outside the testing area. These items may not be accessed during testing, but can be accessed at the break between exams.
- Cell phones or study materials in these bags will be confiscated and may result in disciplinary action.
- We recommend that you bring a watch with NO beeping alarm to help you track timing for the exam.
- What if you are ill on exam day and cannot attend the in-person exam?

- ?Email helpdesk@aptsusa.com IMMEDIATELY. There is a 24-hr window to request a make up exam.
- Include in the email your name, name of the exam, and your campus of attendance
- Note that the make up exam will be offered ONLY in the digital, at-home format unless the exam is AP Spanish.

- Before exam day, log into your College Board profile via http://myap.collegeboard.org and make sure to:
- Visit the My AP Profile section and make sure your Profile is Complete (Make sure your student ID number is in there to report your testing status to Attendance! Make sure your CURRENT school of attendance is listed.)
- SENIORS! Send your Exam Scores for Free: If you did not already do so during registration, enter by June 15 on your My AP Profile the College/ University to receive your scores under Score Send

- ?Your exam will automatically be reported to the school attendance office as School Business when you check in for your test. You do NOT need to contact the school attendance office to excuse your time spent testing.
- Reminder: Whether you are learning from home or learning from school, in-person, you are required to attend all of your classes that do not conflict with your scheduled AP Exam(s).
