How do I register and pay for the 2019 AP® Exams?
You must register for each AP exam you intend to take. The deadline for committing to the exam on the College Board AP® Classroom (http://myap.collegeboard.org) is November 8. PSHS has received a special grant that is paying for all AP® Exams for all students! (Cancellation policies apply!)

Is there financial aid available for the 2019 AP exams?
ALL PSHS students are benefiting from a grant covering all AP® Exam fees. But there is still a fee reduction form to submit to qualify for a lower cancellation/no show fee. Students on the federal Free or Reduced Lunch Program may qualify for a reduction or waiver of AP® exam fees. Please make sure a copy of your approval letter is turned in to Ms. Kretz in the PS HS Front Office before November 8, 2018.
Students who are eligible for the fee reduction will pay an exam fee of $10 per exam. If a fee reduction student chooses to cancel between November 9, 2018 and February 21,2019, they will be held liable for the $40 cancellation fee and therefore will owe $40 per cancelled exam. If a fee reduction student no shows for the AP® Exam they will be held liable for only $53 instead of full price of $85.
I can’t access my College Board Profile or I can’t remember if I have one. What do I do?
Don’t create a second account! Each student should have only ONE College Board account during their high school careers which houses AP®, PSAT/NMSQT® and SAT® scores and information. For log in help visit: https://pages.collegeboard.org/account-help or https://myap.collegeboard.org Students may also call College Board AP® Services for Students: 844-314-3632.
Can I change when I take the exam?
Exam times are set by The College Board. Note that AP® Exams must be taken only at the times established by The College Board. Calendar is available here.
What if I have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 plan?
The College Board must approve any changes or modifications to the AP® exam administration.
Students with a current IEP or 504 plan who wish to receive testing modifications must contact their case manager ASAP. We will work together to file the appropriate paperwork with College Board to allow testing modifications.
What may I bring with me to the exam room?
Students MUST bring pencils, pens in blue or black ink, and a calculator if applicable.
Students may NOT bring iPod, iPads, Apple Watches or MP3 or highlighters into the exam room. Cell phones and electronic communication device, backpacks and bags, including purses, should be left at home.
Do I need to excuse my absence with other teachers during the exam?
The attendance office will receive a copy of an attendance roster from the exam so you will automatically be excused for the class periods that are affected by the testing. You are responsible for all school work missed during your absence for AP® Exams.
What if I finish the exam early? Can I leave early?
Per College Board’s security regulations for exams, students may not leave the test until time is called and all examinees are excused together. If a student leaves without permission, their exam will be collected and submitted separately to College Board. Their score will be cancelled and no refund will be possible. Exams are approximately 3 hours 30 minutes. Please be prepared for the duration of the exam.
Where can I go for additional information regarding AP exams?
Talk to your AP® Class teacher, and speak with your guidance counselor.
