1. Registration & Fees
Students in grade 9 can register for the 2021 Pre-ACT® exam on or before February 19, 2021 midnight CST.
The cost for each exam is $16.
Location information for the exam will be communicated to registrants by the school.
2. Why take the Pre-ACT® exam?
The new Pre-ACT® predicts student performance on the ACT® and can be used as an indicator of college and career readiness. Reports include data to help teachers and counselors target interventions, inform classroom instruction, and guide students in course selection as well as other decisions on their educational paths. The Pre-ACT® score and predicted ACT® score ranges align to the ACT® 1–36 scale. The ACT® Interest Inventory (part of the Pre-ACT®) results provide students with a personalized view of interests with college and career alignment
3. When are scores released?
Pre-ACT® scores are released 2-4 weeks after the exam.
4. Can I cancel my exam and receive a refund?
No. Cancellations and refunds of the exam fees is not possible.
5. How do I prepare for the exam?
