How do I order an exam?
Step 1: Activate your Exam on MyAP – Students will activate their AP® Exams on the College Board MyAP system at http://myap.collegeboard.org with instructions received from their AP® teacher at school or their Testing Coordinator. An active College Board profile log in will be needed Deadline to Activate exam: September 17, 2021.
Your College Board profile is the same account used to order SAT® exams, or to collect PSAT/NMSQT® and AP® scores from previous years. If you do not have a profile, you will be able to create an account on http://myap.collegeboard.org
Both returning and new users will be prompted to go through MyAP Registration pages on the MyAP website, see below for tips of what information to provide.
Each AP® Course teacher will provide you with instructions and a course specific Join Code (or access code) to apply to your account. These Join Codes link each specific subject to your account. (If you are registering for an exam that is connected to a course that you are NOT enrolled in, i.e. you are self-studying, please contact Mr. Lameiro for an Exam Only Join Code to apply to your MyAP profile BEFORE September 16, 2022.
Step 2: Submit exam fees– Students will receive from APTS on October 1, 2021 at the student email address on their College Board profile, their customized and personalized exam fee invoices. Exam fees are due paid in full by October 29, 2021.
Exam fees can be submitted online using a credit or debit card, OR by mailing in a check or money order. Payment instructions are available on the digital invoice. Download the PDF copy of the invoice OR click on “View and Pay Online Now” on the invoice main screen.
⇒ Failure to complete BOTH step 1 and 2 above by October 29, 2021 will mean that your AP® Coordinator cannot submit your exam order to College Board without your account incurring a penalty fee.
Students with outstanding balances due as of October 30, 2021 will have a $50 late fee applied per exam. Late payments will be accepted until February 25, 2022. No exam payments will be processed after February 25, 2022. Without payment of the balance due, the student will not be allowed to sit for the May exam administration and the exam will be deactivated on MyAP. (Reminder that it is required at The Portledge School to pay for and sit for the exam corresponding to your AP® class.)
I can’t access my College Board profile or I can’t remember if I have one. What do I do?
Don’t create a second account!
Each student should have only ONE College Board account during their high school careers which houses AP®, PSAT® and SAT® scores and information. For log in help visit: https://pages.collegeboard.org/account-help or https://myap.collegeboard.org Students may also call College Board AP® Services for Students: 844-314-3632.
What information should I complete on my College Board profile?

Make sure that you enter your FULL legal name (should match your school records), your school student ID number, and also the name of your school. The email address on your profile should be your school email address (and if your school does not issue email addresses, it should be another STUDENT email address that is checked frequently and will be accessible after high school.) The email will be a crucial account identifier as well as where you will receive alerts from College Board and APTS.
On your College Board MyAP Profile you will also be prompted to complete the “Send Score” feature – on this screen you will submit the name of the college/university where you would like your free exam score report sent in July. Deadline to indicate the name of the school and qualify for a free report, is June 15, 2022.)

Students who Join a MyAP group and activate an exam late will be subject to a $50 penalty fee per exam.
I did not receive my AP® Exam Fee Invoice via email. What do I do?

Can I change when I take the exam?
Exam times are set by The College Board. Note that AP® Exams must be taken only at the times established by The College Board.
What may I bring with me to the exam room?
