Sophomores enrolled at Natick High School can register here for the 2021 Pre-ACT® exam to be administered on March 27, 2021.

1. Registration & Fees
Students in grade 10 can register for the 2021 Pre-ACT® exam between February 1 and March 8, 2021 (11:59PM).
The exam will be administered at the Natick High School campus on Saturday, March 27, 2021.
The cost for each exam is $45.
Late registration is possible with a penalty fee of $10 per exam between March 9 and March 14, 2021.
All students choosing to take the Pre-ACT exam must submit an order form through the link below. Payment is possible online, with a credit or debit card, or by selecting mail in at check out and then mailing a check or money order to the APTS processing center. A 3.1% credit card fee is applied to online payments, no additional fees are added for mail in payment. Mail in instructions will be provided on your order summary. Postmark deadline for mail in payments is February 24, 2021.
2. Why take the Pre-ACT® exam?
The Pre-ACT®, administered in grade 10, predicts student performance on the ACT® and can be used as an indicator of college and career readiness. Reports include data to help teachers and counselors target interventions, inform classroom instruction, and guide students in course selection as well as other decisions on their educational paths. The Pre-ACT® score and predicted ACT® score ranges align to the ACT® 1–36 scale. The ACT® Interest Inventory (part of the Pre-ACT®) results provide students with a personalized view of interests with college and career alignment
3. When are scores released?
Pre-ACT® scores are released 2-4 weeks after receipt of the answer documents by ACT.
4. Can I cancel my exam and receive a refund?
A partial refund of $40 is possible for cancellation requests submitted no later than 11:59pm on March 21, 2021. To cancel, email email@example.com and include the student name, name of the school, and the title of the exam to cancel (Pre-ACT.) No refunds will be issued for cancellations submitted after March 21, 2021. Credit card fees are non-refundable.
NOTE: In the event of exam administration cancellation due to school closures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, students will automatically receive a full refund of exam fees. The refund will be credited back to the original method of payment.
5. Are there fee reductions available?
Students who are requesting a fee waiver must be approved for fee assistance through the Town of Natick. Please fill out this application if you have not already applied: Application Form
Once you’ve completed the application through the Town of Natick, please contact Ms. Cairney BEFORE completing the online order form. Approved students will receive a Fee Reduction Code to apply to the online order form and it will automatically reduce the amount due. All code usage is verified.
