How do I place an AP® exam order?
Step 1: Submit Exam Fee Deposit – To take an AP® exam in the May 2020 AP® Exam administration, a $40 per exam deposit is due by November 1, 2019. Click below to submit the fees.*
? Step 1 must be completed by November 1, 2019 to activate the exam order. Failure to complete steps 1 by the November 1, 2019 deadline means the AP Coordinator for your school cannot submit an exam order as initiated with College Board.
Step 2: Submit Balance Due – On or around November 20, 2019, students who successfully completed step 1 above will receive a personalized invoice for the applicable balance of fees due via email.
The email will be sent to the PARENT Email address provided on the deposit form.
The applicable balance must be paid in full by February 20, 2020.
? Any student with an outstanding balance due on February 21, 2020 will have their exam deactivated and forfeit their deposit. Re-activation will not be possible.
What if I miss the November 1 deadline to submit a deposit?
It is CRUCIAL to meet the November 1 deadline.
I haven’t received my invoice for the exam fee balance that is due?
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance – include in the email your name, name of your school, and your request for your invoice to be reissued. (Note that the invoices are emailed in late November to the PARENT email address provided on the deposit submission form.)
I missed the February 20 deadline to submit my balance due? What do I do?
It is crucial to meet the February 20 deadline. Failure to submit the balance due by February 20, 2020 means that the exam order will be de-activated, the deposit forfeited, and the student will not be able to sit for the exam. Please be timely with your balance payment.
How do I submit the exam fees?

Can I cancel my exam?
La Cueva High School will offer full or partial refunds to students based on the criteria below. To request a refund, students must email email@example.com and include their name, the La Cueva High School name, and the title of the exam they wish to cancel.
- Refund requests made before November 1, 2019: Students who request a refund before November 1, 2019 will be eligible to receive a full refund minus the online processing fee.
- Refund requests made on or after November 2, 2019 and before May 1, 2020: Mrs. Chandler will be ordering exams on November 2 and therefore any requests for a refund on or after this date will take into account the unused test fee charged to La Cueva by AP® and therefore your refund will be minus the $40 unused exam fee.
- Students who received a fee waiver are not eligible for a partial refund as the cost for the unused exam is more than the amount paid. Students who qualify for a fee reduction and cancel their exam after November 1, 2019 or no show for the exam, will be charged $37 to the La Cueva HS Accounts at the end of May to cover the cost of the unused exam.
- No refunds will be given after May 1, 2020

Is there financial aid available for the 2020 AP® exams?
Fee reductions are available to qualifying students which reduces the cost of exams significantly. To apply for a fee reduction, see Ms. Chandler for assistance and to obtain a Fee Reduction Discount Code. Once you have the discount code, you can complete your online deposit form on this website. The Fee Reduction Code will lower your deposit amount and that means you will not have a balance due.
Note: Students who were approved for a fee reduction and submitted a reduced deposit, will be held liable for a $37 cancellation fee PER exam for any exam cancelled after November 1, 2019 OR exams for which they no-show.
What if I get sick and can’t make the exam?
There are provisions for students who become sick or injured during or right before testing. In case of such an emergency, please contact your AP® Coordinator at your school IMMEDIATELY. A doctor’s note will be required. IMMEDIATE contact – if ill on the day of the scheduled exam – is crucial due to the deadlines involved in ordering make up materials.
