Read all sections below carefully. You will be asked to verify as part of the  process that you have read and understood all the policies and regulations below. Click on “Order AP Exams” when ready to place your order.

Spring registration deadline: March 22, 2019

  1. Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations must be paid for and ordered in advance.
  2. All registration for AP tests will be completed online through APTS by clicking on “Order AP Exams.” There is no paper registration.
  3. Non-HHS students or homeschooled students who wish to test at Holliston High School need to contact to seek approval.
  4. Registration opens March 1, 2019 and closes on March 22, 2019 for AP Physics C Mechanics, AP US Government, AP Macroeconomic and AP English Language (Semester 2 courses.) All other exams had a November 30, 2018 deadline and will incur a $20 per exam late fee of registering during the March window.
  5. The cost of each AP exam is $96.
  6. Late registration will be possible from March 1 through March 22 with a penalty fee of $20 per exam. (Semester 2 AP Macroeconomics, AP US Government, AP Physics C Mechanics and AP English Language will have that penalty fee waived during the Late Registration window.)
  7. All exams must be pre-paid and pre-ordered via the online system, which accepts credit or debit card payments. A 3% payment fee is added to the order for credit card or debit card payments. To mail in payment in the form of check or money order, please complete the order online and mail a copy of the form to the address provided on the confirmation. Checks should be made payable to “AP Test Service” and be postmarked by November 27 to ensure timely processing.
  8. Refund policy:
    1. Changes to registrations by March 22, 2019 at 11:59pm EST will be granted a full refund.
    2. Changes to registrations from March 23 through March 30, 2019 at 11:59pm EST will be granted an $51 refund per exam.
    3. Changes to registrations/cancellations from April 1, 2019 onwards will not be eligible for refund.
    4. Cancellation notification must be submitted to and include the student’s name, Holliston High School’s name, and the name of the exam the student wishes to cancel.
  9. Holliston is committed to ensuring every student can take an AP exam and will work with families as needed on adjusted fees or a payment installment plan. If a fee reduction is granted a family will be provided with a Fee Reduction Code that will further reduce the price of the exam in the online registration form.   10. Special accommodations for students with 504s or IEPs must be applied for and approved by College Board. Check with your guidance counselor to review your status. If you do not have approval from the College Board, you will not be provided accommodations. The deadline for submission of applications to the College Board for accommodations is February 21, 2019.
  11. All students taking AP exams will be required to attend a pre-administration session during DSB on April 9 for 10th graders and April 10 for 11th and 12th graders. Students MUST complete the pre-administration prior to May 1st.
  12. Non-HHS students should visit the Holliston High School Guidance department any time from 7:30am – 3pm from April 24 through May 1st to complete the pre-administration process.
  13. Information regarding testing room locations and start times will be posted in the building after April vacation. This information will also be available through the student’s AP teacher.
