Exam Fee Submission Deadline: October 31, 2025
Exam Fee: $99 per exam
How do I order an exam?
Step 1: Activate your Exam on MyAP – This step occurred in your PHS AP class within the first weeks of school! Students activate their AP® Exams on the College Board MyAP system at http://myap.collegeboard.org in their AP courses. All students must have completed this step by October 31, 2025.
To complete this step: log into the MyAP system, an active College Board profile account is needed. Your College Board profile is the same account used to order SAT® exams, or to collect PSAT/NMSQT® and AP® scores from previous years. If you do not have a profile, you will be able to create an account on http://myap.collegeboard.org (click on “Create account” beneath the log in space.) Use your personal email address on the profile so you have access after high school. Do NOT create a new account if you believe you have one already – see below.
Each AP® Course teacher will provide you with a Join Code (or access code) to apply to your account during the activation process. These Join Codes link each specific subject to your account. (If you are absent when codes are distributed, you will need to obtain the code from your teacher and complete the step by October 31, 2025.)
Both returning and new users will be prompted to go through MyAP Registration pages on the MyAP website, see below for tips of what information to provide or update each year.
Step 2: Submit exam fees – Exam fees are due paid in full by October 31, 2025
Exam fees can be submitted online using a credit or debit card, OR by mailing in a check or money order by clicking on the payment link below. Payment instructions are available on the digital payment form. Postmark deadline for mail in payments is October 28, 2025.
I can’t access my College Board profile or I can’t remember if I have one. What do I do?
Don’t create a second account!
Each student should have only ONE College Board account during their high school careers which houses AP®, PSAT® and SAT® scores and information. For log in help visit: https://pages.collegeboard.org/account-help or https://myap.collegeboard.org Students may also call College Board AP® Services for Students: 888-225-5427
What information should I complete on my College Board profile?
The MyAP System will prompt you to complete the Registration screens if you are creating a new account. (If you have an account already, make sure to check through the MyAP Profile pages.)
Make sure that you enter your FULL legal name (should match your school records), your school student ID number, and also the name of your school. The email address on your profile should be your student email address (and if your school does not issue email addresses, it should be another STUDENT email address that is checked frequently and will be accessible after high school.) The email will be a crucial account identifier as well as where you will receive alerts from College Board and APTS.
On your College Board MyAP Profile you will also be prompted to complete the “Send Score” feature – on this screen you will submit the name of the college/university where you would like your free exam score report sent in July. Deadline to indicate the name of the school and qualify for a free report, is June 15.)
Where do I get the Join Codes to be able to activate the exam?
Join Codes are subject, teacher and class period specific. Teachers will distribute the codes in class. If you are absent, please see your AP® Class teacher to obtain the Join Codes.
All students must complete the Join Code activation step by November 4, 2025.
Is there financial aid available for the 2026 AP® exams?
All students submit a minimum of $40 deposit for all exams (to cover any possible cancellation penalties levied by College Board.)
- For Students Who Qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch: Once it is confirmed that you sat for the exam(s), your $40 deposit for your exam(s) will automatically be refunded in early June. This will make your actual exam fee $0.
- For Students Who Do Not Qualify: If you do not qualify for free or reduced lunch but have completed the application, you will pay a reduced AP exam fee of $40. The Antioch Unified School District will cover $59 of the fee to ensure that cost is not a barrier for any student wishing to participate. You will not be eligible for any refund.
To receive the reduced/waived price, please contact DLMHS AP Coordinator, Ms. Lyndsie Memory, at lyndsiememory@antiochschools.net to request a Fee Reduction Code to apply to the payment form on this page.
Is there late registration for the exam?
Late registration is possible with a penalty fee of $40 per exam from November 5, 2025 until November 28, 2025.
Can I cancel my exam?
Students who have submitted an exam order and decide to cancel their exam may receive 100% of the exam fees as a refund up to end of day on November 4, 2025. After November 4, 2025, a partial refund will be possible only until December 19, 2025. (A $40 College Board cancellation penalty fee is forfeited). To request a cancellation email cancel@aptsusa.com and include student name, name of the school of attendance, and exam title to cancel. (Debit and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.) No shows on exam day and cancellation requests submitted after December 19, 2025 are not eligible for any refund.
How do I access my exam scores?
Students will be able to log into apscore.org starting in early July after the May exam administration. Students will log in using the same College Board profile account information as they used on the MyAP site. Scores collection will require active log in as well as the student’s AP® ID number – which is accessible in their MyAP accounts or on the label sheets that they will be allowed to retain at the completion of their last AP® exam of each year. AP ® ID numbers are assigned one time, and will be the same from year to year.
