Families and students enrolled at Central High School (Carrollton, GA), can submit fees here for the May 2024 Advanced Placement (AP®) Exam Administration.

EXAM ORDERING PROCEDURES AND DEADLINES:
Step 1: Activate Exam – Students must JOIN their AP® Class accounts on the MyAP Site at https://myap.collegeboard.org and indicate your exam decision. To access the site, create or use a College Board Profile. (See FAQs for more details.) Deadline to Join your class on MyAP is: November 5.
Step 2: Submit Exam Fees – Submit fees for the exams that you will be taking by clicking on the link below. Deadline to submit exam fees: November 5, 2023.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. Registration & Fees
Students must register for Advanced Placement (AP)® exams between September 15, 2023 and November 5, 2023.
The cost for each exam is $105.
The State of Georgia subsidizes the full cost of one STEM exam for each student attending Central High School. STEM Subjects offered at CHS are: AP Biology, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Environmental Science, AP Precalculus and AP Statistics. Students registering for one or more STEM exams will be subsidized for one exam and receive that one exam at no cost to the student.
Late registration will be possible from November 16, 2023 through March 5, 2024 with a penalty fee of $40 PER exam, including STEM exams.
Payment for exams may be done via credit card or debit card, OR by mailing in a check or money order. To submit fees, complete the online payment form at the link below. There will be an online payment fee of 3.1% for payments submitted by credit or debit card. Mail in payments must be postmarked on or before October 31, 2023 to ensure timely processing. Directions will be provided at the payment option selection screen on the online payment form.
Fee Reductions: Students who qualify for the Free-Reduced Lunch program will be eligible for a waiver of the exam fees (sponsored by the State of Georgia STEM subsidy and by Carroll County Schools) to further reduce the exam cost to $0 for all their exams. To receive the fee waiver, please contact AP Coordinator Corinne Hindman at Corinne.Hindman@carrollcountyschools.com to receive a Fee Reduction Code to apply to the online payment form. The Fee Reduction Code functions like a discount code. It will automatically reduce the cost of the exam to $0, but will also ensure that your commitment to testing is logged and noted.
2. Activating an Exam Order
To have a successful exam order students need to complete both of the following steps:

Failure to complete either or both steps will mean that your school’s AP Coordinator will not be able to submit your exam order to the College Board.
To activate the exam on the College Board site, students will log into their College Board profile accounts via the MyAP system at http://myap.collegeboard.org
A College Board profile is the same account used to order previous AP® exams, order SAT® exams, or to collect PSAT/NMSQT® and AP® Exam scores from past years. If a student does not have a profile, they will need to create one.
Make sure all the registration and profile pages are complete on MyAP, including: your FULL legal name (should match school records – Do not use nicknames!), your School Information, and an email address where you can receive important exam day information from APTS and/or the College Board.
Make sure to use an email address where you frequently check email. It should be the student email address.
Students will need a Join Code (or access code) to connect their profile to their specific AP® subjects. Join Codes are subject, teacher and class period specific. Please see your AP® Class teacher to obtain a Join Code before November 5, 2023 and complete the process on MyAP.

3. Refunds and Cancellations: Any exams cancelled after an order is placed will have a $40 cancellation penalty fee levied by College Board. The deadline to cancel an exam is March 29, 2024. To cancel email cancel@aptsusa.com and include: Student name, name of the school of attendance, and title of the exam to cancel.
Please note, you will need to cancel your test by March 29 to receive a partial refund. If you decide not to take the test after this deadline, or do not show up for your exam, your test will not be refunded. Please note, if you qualified for a STEM or free and/or reduced subsidy and do not show for the test, you will incur a $40.00 charge from College Board. This charge will be reflected in Infinite Campus. To cancel your exam you must email APTS before March 29, 2024. Dropping a class or requesting a schedule change does NOT cancel your AP exam.
Seniors, if you do not cancel your exam or fail to show for your exam, the cancellation fee of $40.00 will be owed prior to graduation. If you do not pay, you will not be able to walk or receive your diploma until the fee is paid in full.
