Registration & Fees:
Students in Grade 10 and 11 enrolled at Herricks High School may submit fees for the June SAT School® exam between April 1, 2024 and May 16, 2024.
Exam fee is $61.
No late registration is possible.
The exam will be administered to students on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Please review information below regarding device readiness for this digital exam.
Note that since this is a school-based administration, open only to Herricks HS students, the exam will not appear on a student’s College Board account until scores are released.

Fees are payable online with a debit or credit card or via mail in (check or money order). A 3.1% credit card processing fee is added to the cost of the exam for payments with a debit or credit card. Mail in instructions will be provided at check out. Postmark deadline to ensure timely processing is May 11, 2024.
Cancellations: No cancellations or refunds will be issued.
Accommodations: If you are approved for accommodations by The College Board, they will be applied to this test administration. Please contact your school guidance counselor for more information. Pre-approval is required and The College Board website indicates that this process may take up to seven weeks. If you receive testing accommodations in-school and are not already approved by The College Board, please speak to your school counselor immediately so you can apply for testing accommodations. The Herricks Public School District does not determine approval of College Board testing accommodations. The College Board website indicates that this process may take up to seven weeks.

How do I prepare for the exam?

What do I need to know about the test day?
Exam day specifics and reporting information will be communicated by your campus closer to the test date. Please plan for the following:
- ALL students taking the exam must have a CURRENT school- or government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license or school ID.)
- The exam will be administered on the College Board’s “Bluebook” app
- Students must bring their approved digital device in a fully-charged state to the exam (we recommend to bring a charge cord as well!)
- Restart the device before exam day so that the exam app “Bluebook” is the most current version.

- The “BlueBook” app has a built-in calculator, but it is recommended that students bring their own external calculator. One will not be provided.
When and how are scores for the exam released?
Exam scores are typically released via The College Board’s online portal.
When SAT® scores are ready online, the student will receive from College Board an email with instructions to go to the online score report, and how to use the access code to view scores. Please visit College Board’s website (HERE) for detailed information on how to access SAT® scores.
